​Family Link Worker
All Saints’ Church, Emscote, Warwick, is passionate about ministry to children and families, teaching them about the Christian faith, and enabling them to grow in discipleship. An opportunity for a Family Link Worker has arisen to build on the work of the current postholder. This is a creative and exciting post for a candidate with a ‘can do’, flexible approach, able to work collaboratively with the All Saints’ Church and the federated Emscote Infants School and All Saints C of E VC Junior School.  

The primary focus of this role is to provide: 

● teaching, discipleship and mission within the church, partnering schools, and wider community
● mentoring support and outreach to children and families in the setting of the church and partnering schools
The postholder will work collaboratively with the church and school federation and will be part of a wider network of Children and Families Workers in other churches within the Warwick Team of churches.

​All Saints’ is an inclusive church that worships in the Modern Catholic tradition.
It is a Genuine Occupational Requirement (Schedule 9 part 1 of the Equality Act 2010) of this post to have a committed Christian faith.  

Location, Hours and Salary
The role will be between the church and both schools.
The hours are 27 hours per week, which includes Sunday mornings. The other hours are to be agreed and will usually be worked within the school day. Some flexibility will occasionally be required.
Holidays are 151.2 hours per annum, with the entire month of August part of the leave year.
The contract is for 2 years (until the end of December 2027) in the first instance.
Salary is £20,135 (FTE=£27,963)
